Please help.Legal advice on child & support...?

I have a son 15 yrs %26amp; has lived with me all his life, He know wants to go live with his dad and the thought of that makes me sick,His dad does drugs (pot) lets his our son not go to school doesnt disipline him when he skiips school ,His dad ripps off the gouvernment and dosnt file incom taxes...and he pays little for child support( below the Canadiad guide lines) My question is: fi i take him to court and lose my son cauce he wants to go and he is of legal age to decide to go live with his dad,how do I NOT pay child support...i mean he has always under paid, can i retro act him and what he should of been paying?therfor that counter balances what i need to pay??It is not that i dont want to support my son , it is the fact that i dont have any left over $ to give to his father who lives in a million $ home has seedoos snowmobiles dirtbikes goes to mexico 2x a year 4 trucks and dosnt make his $ legally and rips off the government (scams people %26amp; used car salesmen.

Why would you consider letting your son go live with a drug user? Just because the child wants to live with the dad, doesn't mean it's going to happen. The judge still has final say and most of the time they rule in the child's best interest, not necessarily what the child wants.
Same rules apply in America BUT the child does not automatically get their way. They may request to live with one parent vs the other, But the court will only allow it if there is no reason to believe it is contrary to the best interests of the child. If your ex has all these assets, why have you not gone after him for back child support before now? Chances are, if the court approves the switch, they will not allow you to 'off set' your support requirements with his back amounts owed. They are two seperate issues.
