Legal advice please regarding fraud (i am the accused not the victim)?

hi, i have another yahoo account but i dont want to use it for this question.

Basically, i have dropped myself in it and i have been caught selling fradulent items, under the name of a reputable company.

ok ok i dont need any lectures but i am a young person and i was making money out of selling them. i just need some advice on how to get out of it as lightly as i can

i was approached by trading standards and they want to arrange a meet with me, whats going to happen and can i get convicted etc.

any help would seriously help me out.

im not a bad person i just really appreciated the extra money in these bad times we are all facing, ok i admit its not an excuse to go out and break the law, but i feel truly guilty now and just want it all over with

thanks guysLegal advice please regarding fraud (i am the accused not the victim)?
Get a lawyer.

A young person - how young? (30 is a young person to me).

Yes you can get and probably will be convicted as long as you are over 10 yrs old.

Potentially you stand to get a large fine.

Go to the meeting with trading standards, admit what you have done and show remorse. Promise it will not happen again etc etc and basically throw yourself at their mercy.

If - big if - they think you are genuine you may get away with just a relatively small fine.Legal advice please regarding fraud (i am the accused not the victim)?
Your best bet is to go to citizens advice bureau and also to plead guilty

As daft and as harsh as this sounds pleading guilty reduces the sentence or the punishment. It also ensures that your case is dealt with swiftly.

In terms of citizens advice they will be able to direct you to resources and useful information to assist you.

It also depends on your age. There may be a centre for young people or offenders in your area where you can seek free legal advice.

Hope this helps
1. get a lawyer.

2. do not tell anybody anything whatsoever unless you are in a court of law. do not admit anything. I'm assuming you have rights similar to in U.S. where you have ';The Right to Remain Silent';. Use it.
Admit what you have done. You will be prosecuted and may get a custodial sentence depending on what mood the Judge is in, but at least you won't be looking over your shoulder all the time.
Why are you asking us..the public.....The very people you are selling this fraudulent gear too..

You know you was doing wrong, so now you have to take the consequences whatever that might be...You have brought this on yourself...Now take the punishment.
To get legal advice, don't ask yahoo answer. Get yourself an attorney for this situation. Every state differs in legal laws.
Well, you've done it now.

You may as well go out in a blaze of gunfire. At least it'll get on the news.

All the best!

You want some legal advice? Go to your neareast police station and hand yourself in.

you only feel guilty because you got caught. dont want to scare you but they usually come down hard on this type of thing.
It sounds as though you are not as sorry for committing the crime as you are for getting caught. If it sounds wrong and feels wrong it probably is.

You're right, the need for money is not an excuse for committing a crime, but you chose to do so. Now you need to face up to it and take whatever happens as a future reminder that crime really does not pay.

Be cooperative with the authorities and never ever lie to them. If they catch you in a lie once, your credibility will be shot for life. Full cooperation is your only chance to come out of the situation somewhat intact.
