Legal advice?

Is it possible to make a cash settlement for back child support? The child is now 18. I have had three heart attacks and unable to obtain a full time job. I would like to see this debt resolved before I die. I also might add the child lives in a different state than I do and I have never see it.Legal advice?
That's gonna have alot of variables to it. First of all you have to determine whether or not you owe this woman or the state in which she resides. Has she been on Welfare? If so you need to find out how much you owe the state. I doubt that portion of that you could settle. But the part of it that you owe this woman can be settled out of court as a private matter, of course you would both need lawyers to look over all documentation. But she can make the choice as to whether or not she will accept the settlement.Legal advice?
IF YOU HAVE ASSETS AND THE PARENT OF THE CHILD WANTS TO PURSUE YOU, THEY WILL. IF YOU ARE ON SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY AND DON'T HAVE MUCH ELSE, DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. IF THE CHILD SUPPORT WAS ORDERED BECAUSE OF THE MOTHER RECEIVING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE, THE STATE GOVERNMENT MAY PURSUE YOUR ASSETS. WHAT A DIRTY TRICK FOR YOU TO NOT BE TOLD YOU HAD A CHILD AND YOUR CHILD TO GROW UP WITHOUT A PARENT.
