I have a neighbor that has terrorized me since Nov 2007, April 1st of this year he shot out my car window and we had enough to get a search warrant. Once the police got into his home they found explosives/guns/grendades/etc...he was arrested. was already a convicted felony. i go to court july 22 for that incident. wittness/asst program has me writing what he did and how it has changed my life yet I can only talk about that one day. if he is convicted can i do something for the other times as go to civil court to get restitution for the money my insurance company has to pay out and can I get emotional stress? my life has changed because of what he has done to me. he broke my windshield/threw rocks and broke my bedroom window twice. shot out my car window twice..and only being accountable for the last one april 1st. i have no clue who to turn to or what to do now. please help...Legal advice?
You can't get money to compensate you for the money that was paid by your insurance company. The insurance company has rights of to any compensation you would receive.

Before you get your own attorney, talk to the w/a program as soon as possible, and tell them you want to talk to the prosecutor about adding charges (the other things the neighbor did). If he is convicted of them, it will be easier to get restitution.
If this is not a belated April Fool's Day joke, all you need is money and, oh yeah, evidence.
