HELP PLEASE!!!! need some legal advice?

my car was hit by a drunk driver while it was parked, the police came and arrested the driver and gave me a complaint number for me to file an insurance claim.





I called my insurance and gave them the information, but they called me the next day and informed me I had no collision coverage.





unfotunatly for me I had gone for the cheapest liability coverage (big mistake). so my insurance will not remburst any of my damages they will however provide me with the info for me to go after this person's insurance company, but I am new at this and have no idea how to persue this matter or what legal action I could take please help?HELP PLEASE!!!! need some legal advice?
small claims court if possible, if not consult a reasonable lawyer after contacting the other guys insurance company to see what kind of insurance he has-he should have coverage for other vehicles, most policy's do cover at least the other parties car even if not your own. if he doesnt have insurance, then a legal pursuit may be necessary, you may even be able to make him pay for your legal feesHELP PLEASE!!!! need some legal advice?

contact the drivers insurance company, best bet they will send you to an approved body shop and they will fix the damage whole deal over





if they balk, take you car to get estimates to repair then sue the guy in civil court
Find out how much you can sue for in small claims court where you live. If you can sue there, you won't have to pay a lawyer.
i'm not a lawyer but you need to call the drunks insurance company and have them cover it or else you will take them and/or him to court and it will cost them a lot more than if they were to just pay for it now
