Legal Advice: how do I find out whether my grandmother had a legal will and/or a trust fund?

I talked to my mother who was no help. She claims my grandmother had no will, which I find doubtful. My mother doesn't care that I may need to do a bankruptcy. She is refusing to help and won't even talk about a trust fund and claims her mom had no will. Yet she lives comfortably, buying and upgrading the house on who knows whose money. I don't even know who her attorney is, and finding her attorney is like finding a needle in a haystack in the LA area. Thanks for your help. Have a blessed night.Legal Advice: how do I find out whether my grandmother had a legal will and/or a trust fund?
Check with the county that probated her estate when she died. It really is that simple.Legal Advice: how do I find out whether my grandmother had a legal will and/or a trust fund?
You won't like what the law states here. Your mother and her siblings (if any) are their mother's next of kin if their father is deceased. You are only a grandchild. If I were your mother I would not help you either. You got yourself into trouble now get yourself out of it and truthfully it really is none of your business where your mother got her money or what she is doing with it. Your spoiled and self centered and could care less about your mother. Legal advice isn't the type of advice you need.
In addition to the answer above, if there was an amount of money set aside for you, the executor of the estate would have been legally obligated to make sure you got it.

Beyond that, not being crass, but it is your mothers money to spend as she sees fit. What she received after her mother died is absolutely none of your business.
